Utah Photo Workshops

I’ll be hosting a number of Utah Photo Workshops and Tours in 2015 in different regions and during different seasons. Southern Utah Photo Workshops Overview:

This Southern Utah Photography Workshop with David C. Schultz as your guide and instructor is geared toward all skill levels. Instructions will certainly be given but you should be able to make basic camera settings and have a fairly good knowledge of your equipment.

We’ll meet at our hotel in Torrey, Utah just outside Capitol Reef National Park by 2pm on May 17th. It takes approximately 5 hours to reach Torrey from Salt Lake City without stops. We’ll spend three nights at this location before heading farther south a short distance to the entrance of Bryce, Utah where we’ll spend the next two nights.

This tour is timed so that we can take advantage of the cooler temperatures and the wildflowers blooming in the desert. Each day we’ll assess the weather conditions before confirming that days destination.“Poor weather” can sometimes yield the most interesting photo opportunities so please keep this in mind. We will try to include at least one evening of night shooting depending on how clear the sky is when we’re at an appropriately interesting location.

This price includes tour guide and photographer David C. Schultz. Breakfast is included but since we’ll be out early this may be something on the go.

Lodging is included at the two different locations we will be using as our base. Price is for double occupancy but if you prefer a single room that can usually be arranged at an additional cost and if available at time of booking. Please let us know if that is the case by phone or email when you book your tour.
