Wasatch Mountain Photo Tours
Park City, Utah Photo Tours
Just a few weeks ago Moya, my black lab, and I were barely able to make it down some of the back-roads where I take guest on photo tours in the areas around Park City, Utah as the snow was still about four feet deep. A few days ago in the same areas the wildflowers were poking out of the ground. Life in the mountains! We’ve had a lot of rain which should make for a great summer season with high meadows covered in colorful vegetation. In some spots the arrowleaf balsam root, a large yellow daisy like bloom, have already appeared and the very beautiful and delicate glacier lilies are coming up among the aspen groves.
If you’re planning a visit to the Park City, Utah area including Salt Lake City or Heber Valley and would like to have a guide and photo instructor to show you around please check out my Park City Photo Tours for more details. Along with the Wasatch Mountains which includes Mount Timpanogos I also offer photo tours in the Uinta Mountains. Private lessons or tours start at $400 for 1/2 day and are available year-round. Call 435-640-9220 or email to check availability for dates you will be visiting.

Dave,
I plan to be in the Salt Lake area May 16th thru the 20th. I am not sure what my schedule will be, since we are visiting friends and my wife will be going to look for a bridal gown on Friday and a shower luncheon on Saturday, I prefer to do late day shooting and maybe a possible night shoot of the Milky Way. What is your availability and recommendations? My skill level is amateur advanced? I shoot Nikon D500 and D810. I’m new to the Full Frame photography aspect. I have been to Teton and Yellowstone with guides and Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Canyonlands on my own. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi Dan
I’ll send you an email in a moment. Please let me know if you do not receive that. [email protected] Thanks!
