Wildlife Photo Gallery

I’ve never thought of or referred to myself as a “wildlife” photographer, concentrating more on landscapes for the past 30+ years. It was after traveling to Antarctica the first time when I took more time to turn the camera on the abundant wildlife, especially the penguins, that I began building this portfolio. Even now I find just photographing “portraits” of animals or birds rather boring. My favorite images in this category are going to be those where the surrounds, the natural environment play as much of a role in making a photograph interesting. Even better, wildlife images that bring a smile to the viewers face or give them a good laugh are favorites of mine. Of course this is not always possible but in selecting images to display those qualities were always on my mind. All images are available as signed limited edition prints. Typically they are printed on Fuji Crystal Archival “Super Gloss” paper and come un-mounted and unframed. Other options are available but not listed here yet. These included prints on canvas which are stretched over a frame or face-mounted on acrylic which is a beautiful clean and modern way to display the images.
